Managed to scrape several cm of limescale from toilet bowl bottom. how to prevent?

    Just CLEAN the toilet with a squirt of toilet duck brushed round the pan once a week. If it begins to stain beneath the waterline, use one of the Harpic blocks suggested earlier.

    If you choose not to flush every time that's not the end of the world. Just keep your eye on it and clean it once a week for goodness sake
