I don't think you can preselect your seats with CP.
Online check in opens 48 hours before your flight and you can select your seats for free.0 -

Hi,
Thank you everyone.
I couldn't believe that they could just deposit us somewhere else then we bought for just like that. If I wanted to fly to London, I would have bought flight to London.
happens all the time.
I fly KLM to Vegas mist years, dont think there has been a single trip where a leg of the flight hasnt been changed between booking and flying
admittedly never been rerouted back to a different airport (yet)0 -

You might not be able to, but Customer Relations can....which is why it's best to request it after they have inconvenienced you. It's a reasonable request. A little more difficult once you've put the phone down.0 -

Thanks everyone.
Well, it was the different airport that got my back up...
Not the times. That as you say happens, as long as you can catch your next flight you will survive.
But to deposits you hundreds of miles from where you were going??
And not even provide a telephone number if you have a problem with it?
It would be actually more productive not to go away at all, then to end up at Gatwick with no car, another flight or teleport!
Shocking service.
Perhaps they will take prayers instead of money? Or a drawing of a spider ? (Has everyone seen the email exchange one man had with his gas suplier?:rotfl:).0 -
Understatement of century.
That is just stupid. Would have expected a lot more from company like that.
Why is it stupid. You don't think reroutes are done by anything other than a computer do you.
When ever I have been rerouted and want to change the route back to something better for me , I have always used Facebook and got it resolved within an hour or so with no stress and not hanging around on the phone0
