If it says code error, it's either unlocked already, so try another network in your phone, or if locked it's not locked to Tesco.

The code must have worked. I was trying it with a brand new T Mobile sim when I got the error code.

I put an 'in use' (so to speak) Asda sim card in and...Hey presto :j

Is a nokia 1600 on Vodaphone an asic2 phone? it is listed on unlock.nokia free website but not sure of phone type. the IMEI is 352295019403872

Have tried this site ,but it comes up with 7 alternatives,after 3 tries you are out of luck!! Or down the local market,not worth it for this phone. thanks in advance
