BB5 I'm afraid and the only way to unlock it is to contact your network provider/market stall or a pro unlocker. You can unlock it with a cable, but you need the hardware as well, which will cost you about £300 so you will be better off spending about £15

Ok it's my sisters she is at the end of her orange contract do you think there is any chance they will unlock the phone for free?
Will get her to try, if not would it work with a pay as you go orange sim in it. It may be easier to just switch numbers when my credit runs out if I want to use it.

Forewarned: I am not very savvy re phones but I would like to unlock an old 7250i. I have seen people post their IMEI numbers & a code gets posted so hoping someone can help me out

PS I think I have done it right be seem to have included / & too many digits!!! I said I was rubbish!
