Yes no sim in the phone, what message comes up when you enter the final digit of the code ? Is it code error or cannot undo restriction ?

The phone is hardlocked, which means it cant be unlocked by the codes we generate, it needs to be unlocked using cables and hardware.

5500 is a BB5 model so there are no free codes, Vodafone will unlock it free if its a contract phone, otherwise they will charge you £20, you can get unlock codes for cheaper though.
