Need to unlock my mums phone, its a nokia 6020 IMEI no is 357613003519336 and its locked to T mobile,

Have searched, but wasnt sure if the codes were differnt for each IMEI number, and if i get it wrong she will not be happy.

When it says put in a wrong sim card, can i put in the new O2 card she wants to go on, or should it be a sim card that she is not going to use, sorry if sound dumb but mine was so easy to unlock as was with vodafone

Enter the code without a sim in.

I have the phone in Tanzania - don't know if this makes any difference as to whether it will unlock or not.

Should be ok as three of the networks are on GSM 1800.
