Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 7 (U.K. Networks Only)

Maybe two years ago I had a Sony Ericsson T610 with Orange, I asked for a upgrade which I was refused; so I left Orange and went to Vodafone, got my upgrade and I have no complaints.
I went back to my Sony Ericsson which I had with Orange to use as a spare phone. I found it is blocked, on speaking to Orange they told me £20 is the fee to unblock it. I refused to pay so I am with a phone which can't be used? Is there a way of unblocking this phone, free?

I'm trying to unlock a Nokia 6230 hope someone can help with a code.

IMEI is 357082003354641 and its locked to T-Mobile.......I think (its my husbands and its a few years old and I'm not sure!!)

Hope someone can help - want to get it off to Mr Ts!

Tried both of those Plob but neither worked - am I right in thinking that when I punch the numbers in I dont have to hit the green key or anything - it unlocks once you have put the last digit in?

Any other suggestions?

make sure the imei is correct and that it was definitley on tmobile originally
