Hi,

Vodafone will supply a Network Unlock Code(NUC) for you if you have an account with us either Contact or Pay As You Talk (PAYT).

If the phone's over 12months old the NUC will be free of charge, if it's under 12months there will be a charge of £19.99 (inc VAT)

You would need to contact our customer services on 08700 700 191 or 191 from a Vodafone mobile. You will need to have the make/model of the phone and also the IMEI number available. The IMEI can be found by entering *#06# into your phone or it is also given in the battery compartment of the device.

If the IMEI number is kept on our system we can give you the NUC straight away. If we don't hold the details there is a timescale of 72hrs to retrieve it.

After trying this forum, large supplies ,small shops and market stalls who all tell me that this phone can not be unlocked at this time, some have the leads but there is no software as yet. So it seems we will have to wait, or invest it £30 in tesco airtime.....bri:mad:

I just bought a NOKIA 6301 on ebay which is locked to ORANGE. I spoke to ORANGE today who told me to get a pay-as-you-go sim, register and then ask for the phone to be unlocked. So I bought a sim card, registered and called ORANGE again to be told that I would have to wait 3 months before the phone could be unlocked? Is this correct?, or does anyone have any other suggestions as to how I can get the phone unlocked? Thanks in advance.
