Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 7 (U.K. Networks Only)

Hi

I have been reading this post and noticed a lot of people asking for Network unlock codes for Vodafone locked phones.

Vodafone will provide the unlock code for any phones locked to our network. To do this you will need to contact us on 08700 700 191 or 191 using your Vodafone sim card.

We will require the make and model of the phone and the imei number of the handset; to find this you can either locate it on a sticker in the battery compartment of the phone or by in putting the code *#06# into the phone so the imei is displayed on the screen.

We will provide the unlock code free of charge if the handset is over 12 months old, for any handsets under 12 months old there is a one off charge of £20 (incl VAT).

If the unlock code is not held in our data base it can take up to 72 hours for us to request this from the manufacturer (NB Samsung can often take longer).

Also one other question, when entering the unlock code do I have the old sim in the phone (t-mobile) or the new one which obviously doesnt work at the moment since the phone is locked.

Tried one of the free calculators mentioned at the beginning of this thread but got 3 error msgs so don't want to try a 4th time.

thanks very much, this was really useful info espesh as the model of phone cannot usually be unlocked for free :T

ashamir - 6300 requires physical intervention to unlock, no free remote codes for it ...

Does anyone have a code to unlock a Nokia 6130? It is locked to 3 and I don't have coverage where I live with them.
