I'm pretty sure they cannot be unlocked atall. But I do know you can easily remove all the 3 customisation by changing the product code and updating the firmware using NSU.

Dont dial as if making a call, put the code in as follows without a sim card in the phone


To get the + sign you press the * key twice
To get the p sign you press the * key 3 times
To get the w sign you press the * key 4 times
When you enter the final digit of the code it should say phone restriction off and the phone
will be unlocked to all networks.

Yeah - thats what i did m8 - stupid thing keeps coming up with cannot lift restriction or words to that effect??

I did one of these about 6 months ago - worked first time no problems...any ideas??

If its saying cannot undo restriction it means the phone is hardlocked and cant be unlocked by free codes, it has to be done by cables and hardware, pro unlockers will have the equpment but you will have to dig in your pocket and hand over a £5 note I'm afraid to say.

Hope someone can help - is there anyway of finding out the model of ur phone by dialing some numbers?!! - random question I know, but i got given one, and it looks so much like other phones, im not sure what model it is,

it should be on the sticker under the battery of the phone.

if it is a sony ericsson, just press one of the volume buttons once it has booted up to the main screen, it should say something like w880i or k750i
