Stranger parking in my car port

Oh was telling me the other day that one of his work colleagues had a similar thing happen to them. They confronted the car owner when they came to collect their car and the 'parker' explained that they had paid for a parking space using a phone app and had no idea it didn't actually belong to the person who was offering it.0

Ask the car owner which app and contact the app?
Also put up a sign saying the parking space has not been rent out, any car parking there will be clamped?0 -
Time to get a load of manure delivered - and do have a small shovel to lend them for digging-out!0

Buy an old banger and park it immediately behind them so they can't move it. Then, when they come and knock on your door say "You're having a laugh - that's obviously my car - it's on my land." Then run out the back door and never come back.

That's the trouble with those 'Park on my drive' apps and websites, there is no way to prove the renter actually owns the space.
As drive rental becomes more popular, scammers will jump on the bandwagon and offer strangers driveways out to rent. They get the cash and the real owner gets the grief.Never Knowingly Understood.

Or turves, or scalpings or patio blocks or whatever you were planning to do in your back garden. Sorry mate, I'd help but I've a bad back and my mate can't help until Sunday. Here's a barrow and (large) shovel. Cheers. [Innocently] You shouldn't be there, but I'll make you a cuppa..0 -
Whilst i agree that chains etc are an effective way to prevent the driver gaining access it won't stop them doing the same to someone else. Have you tried talking to the driver or leaving a not on the car explaining that this is a private car space?Little One born 19/12/18

Why would you actually threaten them with a criminal act? It will make you a laughing stock.
BTW, blocking the vehicle in intentionally is also a criminal act. Maybe you'd better look at POFA Sect 40 -
You're no longer allowed to use clamps on private land since 2012 Protection of Freedoms Act.
As others have suggested, you need to find some way to prevent access to your land.0
