The suggestion from Tigsteroonie is probably a whole lot cheaper and easier ! You can buy lockable bollards quite easily, here's just one example :

Report them to who?0 -

OK, "report" was probably the wrong terminology. You'd need to apply for a court order - not a step to be undertaken lightly.
Which is why I agree that either a bollard or a damned great lump of rock is a much simpler solution.
I do like Molerat's suggestion though:T In a similar vein, brake fluid is a highly effective paint stripper. It would be a shame if the OP was carrying a bottle into the garage to service his bike, and accidentally spilled some on the car's paintwork ......0 -
An implied threat you'll ruin their vehicle if they don't "cut it out" and stop trespassing works sometimes. I can't begin to say how I know....;):rotfl:. But if the threat is obvious enough - and you really would do so if need be then.....0

Can't think of anything more stupid. They know where you live!0 -
Place a large planter in the centre. It will look attractive and will be easily moved (without hurting your back) if the soil filling provides the weight, as it can be moved in manageable amounts.0

Barrier ... And get some fake amusing parking tickets that look very real. I used to occasionally get people parking on my side lawn with 2 wheels on the grass. The fake parking tickets sealed into zippy bags were most effective.
The reasons for issuing a ticket included:
Vehicle environmentally unsound
Driver obviously unhinged
Driving a garish pimp mobile
Scouser outside Liverpool (used at work for scousers)
Etc. The fine was to be sent in cash in a plain brown envelope to the chief constable etc. They were so convincing people threw them onto the seat unread in a rage when they found the ticket. Much to my amusement.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0 -

Put up a parking charge sign and start invoicing people for their parking. If you do it properly you should be able to take people to small claims court.
Or block off your driveway.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -

Chain across the car port, or bollard, to stop cars getting out?I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0 -
If there is a suitable cross member hang some chains from that rather than across you only need to move them when you need car access.
One in the center may be enough, this one for £26 would give 2x2.5mtr drops

Another simple solution is a extra post, piece of timber top to bottom with a bolt to the floor and a hinge at the top to swing up into the car port if you need the space for a car.
should be around £15-£20 for the post and the Ironmongery.0
