Is BT awful service for Broadband?

Hi, I hope its ok posting like this. I was going to switch to BT Broadband Infinity 1, 50mb, basic TV, phone line and mobile (moving from Virgin) it was a very good deal but I have read very poor reviews online and 'WHICH' are scathing about them. Hi, sincere thanks to everyone who has replied today. I really appreciate people taking the trouble.

I have changed my mind again:embarasse and decided once and for all not to go with BT. This morning I was going to cancel the cancellation but reading of peoples experiences decided it was too risky- so many reports of terrible customer service. Thank you for posting your experiences, muirbabe.
