Barnet Hospital Parking Eye Penalty Charge Notice

Thanks for replying. My mum recently received 2 parking fines for parking in the drop off zone at Barnet hospital, she only passed her test on the 1st of this month. I know there’s no excuses but she can’t afford to pay it (£120) at all and she didn’t know she had to pay apparently. I wasn’t there so I don’t know if there’s any ground to appeal on. I remember watching watchdog where this man said you should never pay a parking fine from a private company such as McDonald’s, what makes this one any different? Because I have never paid one I’ve always ignored it.? The first thing I said was don’t pay it but obviously I needed to make sure and want to know why this one is any different to the ones I have ignored and nothing has happened. Thanks.

May i suggest you edit your post, people who post on here are all volunteers.
As there is a huge volume of traffic on here, consisting of motorists, like yourself who have fallen into the hands of a private parking company, and only a handful of people who can post, and have the time to post some of the reply's will be a little blunt, and may even seem rude, don't take offence its just down to the high volume of traffic.

If you can then try posting using a real keyboard on a real computer - far less infuriating than using a phone and as for your parking case, take a look at PALS NHS parking principles and also try and dig out any press re parking eye at that site ( ie pocketing the money from parking charges
