about 6 mths ago I needed 2 x cheques to send to the DVLA to register an imported vehicle , NO they would NOT accept a debit card , my friendly shopkeeper had a cheque book , and I paid him the money (£55 +£17) and 2 cheques were written out to the DVLA with my referance number written on , that took me less than 25 days to work out0
