Free Motor Legal Protection

I am just about to re-new a multi policy now (3 Cars) so doing the rounds of looking at each car costs individually, so I can batter down the over priced renewal. I know that motor legal protection is a much discussed topics with people for and against. I have found a multi motor legal policy by DriverGuardian for £25 and then found a free one http://www.freemotorlegal.co.uk/ anyone got any experience or opinions on either?

Free cover has been discussed in a number of threads:

There are no recommendations for it, and the only good word comes from the guy who owns it.0 -
Thanks for that Quentin; I had carried out a search before I posted but came up blank (not sure why). It's an emotive subject!0

the free company makes money by probably charging a fortune for rental hire and solicitor costs to the at fault party.
basically what your insurers do already but with the added bonus of referring you to a solicitor who may also take a cut of your compensation too but without charging, which mainstream no win no fee already do"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Then surely you should be seeking MSE's permission to post as company representative.0 -

Having said the above, I am getting to the point of not really caring what Quentin et al have to post on the subject. It is just the same old toss. Recent turns of events in my life have re-focused what is important in my life and squabbling with the likes of him and other self-appointed forum prefects is lame.
If my account gets deleted for this post, so be it.
Bear in mind this is coming from the company that previously posted this apology (after being subjected to much criticism):Free_Motor_Legal wrote: »Further to the comments, observations and criticisms put forward, a review has taken place and our terms and conditions have been updated and some of the website content revised in order to clarify the service provided and avoid any confusion or people being mislead.
Our apologies if anybody was mislead.

Many thanks
It is a fact that every time your company gets brought up here that no-one but you have a good word for it (until in this thread the mysterious seaside joins up just to proclaim he will sign up and then castigates MSE for not promoting you with his maiden post???)0 -
Think what you like old man. I have no idea who the new poster is. Jog on.0

Which is fine, but if you are going to comment on that company then you should use the appropriate account.0
