It wasn't my finest hour as I was impatient and ate it before it was cooked/browned really ... big mistake is that I used one of those Bigham's pie dishes to make it in and that was really too small for the quantity I made.... so it dribbled down the outsides a bit - I'm not a mucky cook usually.
It's tax return day, so doing anything to avoid pressing the button really .... done it all, all figures entered... just always fearful of pressing that button!
Press the button PN the relief will be amazing

Fish fingers and chips soon I think .... if I add beans I can call that "tea"
EDIT: Did that ... fish fingers, chips and beans will be served in 4 minutes0 -

I don't give a stuff what society thinks, but my own body shouts at me if I don't eat veg regularly. Possibly this is due to being a vegetarian since I was 11. After three days in Norway, where veg is very expensive and it's not great for vegetarians, my cells were crying out for something green, so it's hard for me to imagine living off crisps and pies. I really notice the difference in my skin and energy if I've been on holiday and not eaten the usual amounts of crisp fresh greens. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
Just made a cup of tea and the teabag split as i was squeezing it out ...My much needed cup of tea with tea leaves in is now at my side!!
'My name is karcher and I too hoard loo roll'....some things are just essential and would be a nightmare to run out of!
No food yet today, only tea and coffee.
I am planning to make the caramelised onion and Camembert filo pastry parcels later though..I'm debating whether to add mushrooms or not
Nelski...There aren't many foods I really don't like but Heinz tomato, or for that matter, any tomato soup, is on my absolutely do not like at all list. Enjoy though, with whatever sandwich combo you chose to have with the [STRIKE]horrible[/STRIKE] stuff:D

MY CBA dinner tonight will be all from the freezer, battered cod, oven chips and frozen peas, with glop of tartare sauce if I can find it in fridge [interior light has gone pfft and CBA applies here]Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

PN - glad you pressed the button your cauli bake sounds lovely and you can't beat fish fingers
Well between us we seem to have an awful lot of loo roll, seeing how short the supermarkets are with some veg we'll be ok if that is the next shortage. I don't remember the loo roll shortage of the 1970s not because I wasn't about but my Papa had a hardware store so we were sortedI remember the power cuts and the bread and sugar shortages not convinced we are not so far away from shortages rearing their head again:(
I was going to pick the last of the chard from the garden this afternoon but it hasn't stopped raining all day so didn't bother. An easy cooking for one dinner on the cards tonight of spaghetti with mushrooms, peppers and onions which I always enjoy. I scoffed what was left of the chicken goujons with my soup earlier. They were really nice and I think the next time I get a whole chicken I'll prep some for the freezer. I generally prefer the dark meat to the breast but like the carcass for stock so always end up looking for ideas for the breasts.0 -

bad luck on the tea bag hate it when that happens
Funny you should say that about the soup though as Heinz is literally the only tomato soup I do like (probably because theres not many tomatoes in lol ) I dont eat tinned or cooked tomatoes in any form in fact really dislike them but Heinz get the thumbs up from me
Due out soon but I am still not hungry guess this is going to be a late sandwich job or a maccy Ds on the way home0 -

Have a maccy Ds you know you want to - I take the notion for one every couple of years  and when the notion strikes it fair hits the spot0 -
One of my favourite dinners from my childhood involved a can of tomato soup; always made with a tin of condensed tomato + the can of water, this means if I wish to recreate it I'll have to use a different soup ... but would it taste the same if I've not used the Campbell's condensed.... good question, which is why I've not bothered with it for a number of years. Fully made up, it was a huge casserole dish full of food .... loved that dinner.0
