Boots may have them back in stock but the price has gone up by nearly £50. Yo can get the same camera for a similar price.0

Except the price is now £149.99. They're claiming that the £99.99 price was a 1 day special. Also, they have limited the offer to 1 per customer.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Anyone who received there camera can you confirm when you take a video recording does it pick up the internal mechanism movement (ie refocusing), as mine does this and you hear it in the recording.
I've not tried video recording but the manual says that there may be some focussing noise and suggests switching to single autofocus (bottom p.94).0 -

Only happens when you move the camera not when its still, also sound quality seems very poor anyone esle noticed this. Great pictures though, might return it to Boots and have it checked out against one of there display models. Dont want to return it as I got it at that special price.
If you don't want it, I'll give you £89 for it!!!!!

Does anyone have a screenshot of the 5200's originally before they put one per customer as I ordered two (one for brother who was at work) and they are now saying it was only one per customer but it wasn't when I ordered mine.
ThanksSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Got a Nikon 4100 through the offers. The flash charging takes about 10 to 12 seconds. My friend's SONY p73 doesnt have any thing like that. Is it a problem with all Nikon models ? Is 10 to 12 seconds too much? The video quality also seems to be pretty poor. Will decide on returning based on the responses.
Thanks in adv,

The sound play back quality is very poor on mine too. Maybe this is just normal. I don't really care though, as the picture quality is great. I'd be interested to know the result if you do test against a display model...0 -
One thing to note is that the built in Mic on any digital camera is unlikely to record in crystal clear Dolby digital quality sound, it isn't a video camera after all!!
Also be careful you haven't got your finger over or near the Mic as this won't help with the sound on an already inferior Mic.Langers0
