OP asked a question, no need for the usual criticism. I remember being young...
My answer: I used to, but at 71 I am a bit old for it now and my missus would probably have a heart attack if she was in the car when I drifted. I used to do that in the company of mates on an old airfield which is now an estate. Driving old, front-engined, rear wheel drive cars which were absolute magic to slide about. I still recall how much fun that was. Sure, it wears out tyres, puts strain on suspension and steering, but it was highly enjoyable and we were nowhere near a residential area. I was young, it was fun. OP, if you can find some similar private ground and get permission, why not? Your car, your money.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

And when the Taxi drivers of Wolverhampton staged a go slow crawling in a convoy at walking pace along the ringroad through the rushhour.........
Absolutely nothing happened.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Just turn sharply and apply handbrake should be enough.0

No, but the injunction specifically prevents driving in convoy, and if the injunction actually meant anything it could have been used against them, instead they were allowed to cause a nuisance, and were all set to do it again until "The Council" acceded to their demands.
Bit like the "injunction" that according to the posters on the lampposts prevents groups of people congregating in the street, yet when a large gang of youths are milling around sitting on peoples walls smoking substances and drinking lager, the Police can't/won't do anything.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Well there you go, it doesn't apply. If you actually read the injunction is mentions car cruising. The taxi drivers were not a car cruise.0
