Switched to Iresa also, let's hope the "outlier" thing doesn't really come to anything negative!

IRESA for me too now. Will keep an eye on the market.
  • Another vote here for IRESA. Let's hope they can cope with all these people transferring to them!
  • I too thought the EDF collective deal was very underwhelming. But I'm wary of the "outlier" status awarded to IRESA, so I've gone with So Energy. I actually started the process a week ago, but was prepared to "cool off" if the EDF deal had been any good.

Something isn't right when small startup companies can outprice the Big Six and none of the latter can even provide a Collective Fix to match them. It's sheer bloody greed!

    I don't think it is.

    Comes down to:

    > Overheads
    > Debt Servicing

These smaller companies do not have the overheads and probably have less interest on debts to pay. Also new systems which are going to be more efficient than some of the 20+ year old systems some of the big 6 will have.
  • Dan,

Will there be anymore collective fix deals coming before the end of the month or is it just this EDF one? Cheers

Funny I have JUST had an email from the "Tariff Team" collective - I am guessing it uses the same sourcing as MSE, as it appears to be exactly the same.

Glad I got my Iresa application in before today - I might have just missed the swamping.

We're not planning any other MSE collectives in the next month or so.

Hi Minimike2 - the Tariff Team isn't in any way linked to MSE or Cheap Energy Club. The collective tariff which we've organised with EDF isn't available anywhere else.

My post from a little earlier may help.
