Send an email to Shirley & Co at UKPC telling her about your new address, with the PCN number in the subject line:
appealmoreinfo@ukparkingcontrol.com
If they respond and tell you they can't consider an appeal, point out it wasn't an appeal, but thank them for acknowledging your address for service.''Screwfix are only prepared to offer £60 in full and final settlement."PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, sorry for delay in response.
I received the £60 cheque from Screwfix. The disclaimer was very short:
"I [name] confirm upon receipt of cheque payment for the sum of £60, will have no further claim in relation to this incident"
I have today received a notice of intended court action from DRP. Am I right to ignore this? I do not wish to go to court - if I get a letter before court action from UKPC or a solicitor, do I still get a chance to pay the ticket off?
I contacted UKPC via a different complaints email, to ask them to update my address, and received the following email:
"Dear Sir/Madam,
As this charge is being handled by Debt Recovery Plus, please liaise with them on 0208 234 6775."
They don't seem to want to acknowledge my request to update address. I've just also emailed the appealmoreinfo address as suggested by coupon-mad0 -
DRP cannot take you to court, its just a debt collector letter, nothing more
IGNORE DRP

Can they not take you to court if they have bought the debt? Think MIL as here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/55670030 -

If UKPC reject your attempt to tell them your correct address again, reply and point out that UKPC's Data Controller remains liable for the accuracy of the data held in their systems (and that of their agents) and that they must now treat this as a formal Section 10 of the DPA 'objection to processing'.
Specifically, you object to UKPC and their agents processing and storing data relating to your old address now that they have acknowledged receipt of your email telling them the details of your new address. If any more letters are served to the old address from February 2017 onwards you will file a complaint with the Information Commissioner about data misuse/continuing to process data they know to be inaccurate. And should this complaint be upheld you will then sue UKPC and their client for their joint and several liability.
Be VERY robust, you need to send such warnings in order to set the foundations to sue UKPC or have grounds to counterclaim, should they try a claim in 2017 or later. There is a reason why you need to lay these foundations now and use the above words.
Fun this, isn't it?! The PPCs are on the back foot.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Parking Pains, i have exactly the same, but i have only just seen this. I have photo'ed the badly lit signs and have used an appeal template to UKPC which they have rejected (as expected). How did you get hold of screwfix? Did you write to them? i went into store and got told they couldnt do anything.0

Papa Golf's comment makes me wonder why they are offering £60 as a disclaimer. They breaking laws by the unadequate signage? All though it is not them issuing it and not their land. Any ideas as to why?0

Because Screwfix must have had their fingers burnt by numerous complaints and realised the fox they have allowed into the hen's coop.
Clearly they are scared and do not want any liability to be sued, now they realise what these nasty firms are about.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is the following a good way to appeal as an email to screwfix enquiries? It is just a draft and i can see this action may help others defend themselves maybe also...
"Good morning,
I am hoping to be put through to someone who can help. I am the owner of a car that has had a window screen parking notice put on my window screen by UKPC in Cambridge. It was 8th Jan 2017 on a Sunday and the company was shut. The driver didn’t see any parking signs so parked in the car park.
I also went back their another night soon after and took photos of the signs to see what the “breach of contract was” however yours signs are very unclear, unlit, not big and not prominent. Had the driver known I was going to be in breach of contract they would of never stayed their, however it looks like the unclear signs can be seen as a trap.
When I have used your store in the past I haven’t ever seen these either. I can understand it if you wish to keep clear your car park for customers only, however, the 2 signs which are in the centre of the 2 car parks do not give clear indication. I am hoping to have a settlement with Screwfix over this or I am left to take this further.
Kind regards"

Ok, so after contacting Screwfix myself, they have also offered to pay me the sum of £60 to pay the costs of the ticket. However, that is now going to be £100 so have asked them to up the disclaimer to cover costs. They clearly know their signs are in the wrong or trying to appease customers. My ticket is now £100 and they are offering £60. What to do? i have a POPLA code i could use and fight it and MIGHT get off, or take this and be £40 worse off. I have asked for the terms and conditions of the disclaimer first before i accept.0
