I was on heatwise this meter was only done by eon no other company can do heatwise .
When my meter stoped working it was replaced with economy 10 meter my direct debit carried on as normal, so paying money to eon .EON are that mess'ed up that there is no communication on there system ,if there was it would have been sorted when their own engineer put the paper work in that this job had been completed.
So after a year they said i had not paid any money (,my direct debit still paid after a year) so money going in to my account. So when they said i had not paid ,they meant they had not taken any of the diret debit money.
The point is they are aloud to do what they want take people money and not give back what is not theirs, they have been doing this for years look at the news ,but no one stops them is like these drug dealers who debt people up and take money ,what is the difference .
HOUSE MARTIN when you get these meter reading wrong this is what happens the power company rub there hands take take take ,but they do not want to give you it back , so when a meter reading is done wrong and the customer has to pay £800 for a wrong reading thats ok .BUT THIS IS GOOD EVIDENCE TO PROVE WHY I HAVE OVER PAID FOR YEARS THANKS
You re welcome to use that as evidence, in fact you can use me as a back up for evidence. We do not do any proper in depth training on any multi rate meters and Eons Eco 10 and 7 come into that category. We have an EDF 20/20 meter and no one has the faintest idea how to input those readings neither. As for the business max demand meters with up to a dozen registers..forget it lol. They just input the reads in the registers as they appear on the meter but that is not the correct way and every one will be rejected.
Eco 7 meters which have old analogue timers witches can have their night rate appearing anywhere in the 24 hours. A glance at the timer switch would show which rate is active at the time the meter is read .These meters will usually get read correctly its the digital ones which get transposed. The meters are just called rate 1 and rate 2 not day and night and they also have a third reading which is allocated the letter " T " ( total ).
We have agency staff nowadays who are drafted in sometimes and they are hopeless leaving a constant trail of mistakes in their wake. Things are getting worse not better when suppliers like OVO use such a complex stupid meter like the Secure Liberty range which are finding their way into other suppliers customer base through switching suppliers away from OVO leaving other suppliers with their ridiculous meter..
