sorry not got time to do all that , takes all my time to type on the computer

Then, similarly, I haven't got the time to decipher it, and I'm sure many others will take the same view. If you punctuate as you type, why does it take any longer?

I may be wrong, but it sounds to me that you had not paid anything for approximately a year and now want all the electricity you have had over that time for free?

  • hello you must understand that EON take your money anyway they can they have take THOUSANDS, off me charging what they want when they want and that's ok.They charge me day rate for day and night for 5 years in 2005 up my bill to £800 in one month in the summer in 2005 and took my £400 pound credit at the same time .I complaind and the out come was i did not pay any night rate so that was the end of the complaint said the manager at EON.
SO can you see why I should pay back ,if EON are aloud to do this why should they stop.
    THE OMBUDSMAN
This has gone in their favour and the best thing about it EON told me this in the first place that it would go their way.
So EON are aloud to do what they want the ombudsman has gone there way on everything they must find this acceptable to treat there customers in this way ,I dont trust the ombudsman anymore its same old take off the poor and feed the rich ,we are like little ants at work all day to support the higher authority ,
  • I think the company needs better communication between all departments ,i dont know how the company still operates apart from taking money from people ,the system you use must lose information ,i have been with eon for a long time and at times i feel the company on how it works kind of sh its on its customers , its not acceptable to treat people in this way ,but what goes around will come around if the company does not change customer will go else where i dont trust any one any more its so sad.....
  • So why are you still using a company that you had such a terrible experience with previously.

I move every couple of years and to be honest last time I was with EON found them as good if not better that the others

You were using electric. You knew you were not paying for it each month. But I assume you knew your electricity would not be free and that a bill would come.

So of course you set aside the money which one would usually pay for the electric, so that when the bill came, you would be in the position to do so, yes?

Anyone who suspects there is a faulty meter can have it checked. If it is found to be faulty then there is no charges but if its ok they usually charge around £60 to cover their costs. Many people have suspicions that the meter is faulty and they are being overcharged so the suppliers have to make a charge for this if all is ok.
Meters which are damaged when they are bypassed to obtain free electricity are also charged at over £200 per meter.
I have seen previous posts on here where people have had a lot of the bill scrubbed if the suppliers are proven to be at fault in reading the day and night rates transposed. They will try and squeeze everything from the occupier but usually will lower the bill with threats of an Ombudsman ruling.Meter readers are not trained properly or not trained at all in getting the day and night readings correct.I work for G4S who read meters for Eon and no one has ever said much about how to get the day/night correct. When I worked at Npower years ago they did take the trouble to get this correct . Meter readers will bung the day and night reads in anyway they fancy. Its easy to get it wrong especially early in the morning when sometimes night rate is still on at 8 am Ever since digital meters took over this has been a problem. The old analog meters never gave any trouble. They were clearly labeled day/night or low /normal..

  • I was on heatwise this meter was only done by eon no other company can do heatwise .
When my meter stoped working it was replaced with economy 10 meter my direct debit carried on as normal, so paying money to eon .EON are that mess'ed up that there is no communication on there system ,if there was it would have been sorted when their own engineer put the paper work in that this job had been completed.
So after a year they said i had not paid any money (,my direct debit still paid after a year) so money going in to my account. So when they said i had not paid ,they meant they had not taken any of the diret debit money.
The point is they are aloud to do what they want take people money and not give back what is not theirs, they have been doing this for years look at the news ,but no one stops them is like these drug dealers who debt people up and take money ,what is the difference .
HOUSE MARTIN when you get these meter reading wrong this is what happens the power company rub there hands take take take ,but they do not want to give you it back , so when a meter reading is done wrong and the customer has to pay £800 for a wrong reading thats ok .BUT THIS IS GOOD EVIDENCE TO PROVE WHY I HAVE OVER PAID FOR YEARS THANKS
  • NO i did not know that my bill was not being paid i had a diret debit set up so money goes in to eon account for them to take
