Never struggled in 20 years, so doubt i will when the forecated Armageddon arrives!

No prep necessary, other than regular maintainence, keep an emergency bag in the car anyway all year round.

However, I'll be surprised if we get more then a hard frost.
Wait until the end of the month. My Landy's MOT is up on the 29th.
  • Damn, the latest forecast says no snow.

I have Winter tyres and a set of chains in the boot, along with the emergency kit - blankets, gloves, Kendal Mint Cake etc.

My work means I'm on emergency standby to travel almost anywhere in Europe at very short notice.

The limiting factor is the depth of snow - over 8" and the front spoiler becomes a mini-snowplough.

Right, I know who I want a lift with!

I've winter tyres, the emergency bag, 2 litres of coolant (system had a leak so I'm just a tad paranoid) & a well prepared house.

The two things I can't control are the snow & the teenagers' appetites. Better get another tub of hot chocolate en route home - that keeps them happily quiet & warm for about three hours.
