Problems with TSB credit card application

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone else has had problems with their TSB Credit card application?
I applied before Christmas when I switched my current account to TSB. There was a request for further ID - so I went into my local branch with the documentation requested.
This was on 16th December and the documentation didn't get to the right department until the 21st. All well and good but it has caused my credit card application to be stopped (I applied on 18th).
Rang TSB 3 times about this and being told its an IT glitch and because the application is live for 30 days I could miss out - I have also been told that if I applied again then I could be rejected. I feel this is a bit unfair seeing as I have been accepted subject to paperwork that TSB agree is acceptable.
Has anyone else had issues? I am going into the branch to complain and it isn't giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling about TSB.

If I understand this correctly, they required further ID to complete the bank account application & switch.
If this is correct, why did you do a CC application before the correct team had received that. (the 16th was a Friday/application done on 18th - Sunday before ID got to the right team on Wednesday).
Has your bank account been opened and switched now?
You don't need to go into a branch to make a complaint - you can ring them or fill in their online complaint form. https://www.tsb.co.uk/help/complaint-form/I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. I had problems too. Applied online. Sent a letter telling me I had to go into a branch to prove identity. Did that. Waited a couple of weeks. Phoned up, and they claimed my identity verification hadn't gone through. Went back to the branch with proof of identity again to straighten things out. Didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks again. Gave up as it was too much effort by that point. After I'd forgotten about it the card turned up in the post about two months after I applied for it.0

Bank account switched ok. I didn't know I had to give ID for my credit card as all I got from the CC team was an email saying they will get back to me.
Update which I had to get from the branch - the application was automatically refused because I have just switched to TSB. I am a little annoyed at this because if I had been told that in the first place.
They have lost my business anyway because I have opened a MBNA card instead - that was very straight forward.0
