No extension straight into the master socket
Fuel is the ISP but I think its a sub company of Tiscali (?)
The router is ZyXel.

yes, but do any extensions exist, if they do, then it could affect the speed when you aren't using the test socket

no, (I'm referring to the cabling inside the piece of plastic you've just pulled out of the master socket, not external to it)

Thanks. I followed the instructions seems there had been something go wrong with the routers. Just done another speed test.
