Yes - far better to ensure that time and space is left for him to fill if he feels that he wants to, rather than him feeling pressured to talk if he may not be ready.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks for the support guys. It really does mean a lot, even if you are internet "friends". He seems to be doing ok, but then again he was until he wasn't so what do I know? People with ADHD can be very good at masking.
Not too much to report on the finances. I checked my Post office savings and had made a tidy sum of £5.04 interest. I took out £130 to pay my friend for tickets to go and see Take That! One of my guilty pleasures as I got the referral bonus at work so can afford to treat myself. I also withdrew the money I'd spent on paint for the front room and kitchen. That's being done this weekend and early next week whilst MrM and I are away. I can't wait to just go and have a break. We've nothing planned as doggo is coming with us. Plenty of walks on the beaches and hopefully Exmoor. We're self catering so hoping to have some lazy mornings and cooked breakfasts, packed lunches and a couple of fish n chip type meals.
No PB wins this month. Also not had much time for Prolific. My job is so full on all day everyday and then I forget in the evening when I'm watching mind numbing tv.
Still planning for my birthday. Need to get some more drinks in but need to check what I have. Said I need to get some more prosecco and MrsM senior said "don't buy any, I have two bottles updstairs" not sure two would go very far! lol
I've also got DD's 14th birthday coming up. She want's to take some friends to a water park but as her birthday is in half term it will need booking pronto. She keeps putting me off as she can't decide who to invite. Kid drama!
Hope everyone has a lovely week.

Lovely to have a trip away planned - usually I'd think of it as being a nice time of year with all the autumn colour but this year it's more like "pack and umbrella and factor 50 sunscreen" as who knows what the weather will do next!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hello All,
I hope everyone is doing well?
We had a lovely (if not spendy) time in Devon. It was so very relaxing but then came home and back to work with a bump! I've just not had time to breathe as it was dd's 14th birthday this weekend just gone, and is mine this weekend coming. I'm having a party and alongside work, just can't really concentrate on much else. I do need to raid my savings as have spent a lot on booze and foody bits and pieces.
We also have son's friend staying for the month, he just arrived on Friday. I'm feeling a little sorry for him as he's just arrived from the Isle of Wight so needs to get a job. He's had an interview at the pub my son works at so fingers crossed he'll get some shifts, otherwise it could be a long boring month for him when ds is working.
One good thing is I am ahead of my Christmas savings and still have one more payday to add to the pot. Now dd's birthday is out of the way I can look at starting the Christmas shopping. Having said that, now the kids are older, they don't want so much "stuff" and are more than happy with money to go and buy clothes etc.
Credit cards and payments need reviewing. I have a shed load of paperwork to sort out and file away. It will all be done after my birthday.

Happy Birthday! Hope you have an amazing time 🤩
Sorry to hear that DS is struggling but it’s so great that he’s got such a supportive family and has got into counselling very swiftly. I’m sure his friend being around will help too 😊
