Oh my word that  must have been so tough to hear from DS - I'm so glad he's got you supporting him, and that it looks like he'll be able to get the much needed help fairly swiftly as well - both those things will make a massive difference. Sending big supportive hugs to you and MrM about it too - and don't forget that there are organisations out there to support you two through it as well.

    Thank you @EssexHebridean

Finance news, not much to report. Did an online Tesco shop. My Tesco cc was £77 in credit and had been for a few months. I was waiting to see if they'd offer me a 0% but they haven't so I used my Tesco credit card to pay for the order and transferred the balance of the shop from my joint account to a shiny new Monzo pot to pay when the statement comes in. I used to do all my shopping on the Tesco card and pay it off. Then it went a bit pear shaped and before I knew it I owed about £7k. I think I might try it this way now. Transferring the shopping money into my monzo pot and paying it off every month. It might kick start a BT offer if I'm using the card properly.

Nothing else to report. DDs coming out, no PB win this month and I have an awful toothache. Dentist booked for Thursday.

Just waiting for my potatoes to boil. Sausage & mash tonight.

    Love to all

Oh bad luck on the toothache! Nothing worse! Sending hugs (gentle ones) along with soluble aspirin and clove oil ….

Sadly no clove oil and can only take a very low dose of aspirin. I'm on high blood pressure medication (quelle surprise) and there's so much I can't take. I took an ibuprofen yesterday afternoon and was so spaced out!  I've been doing salt water rinses and corsodyl mouthwash which has been helping.  I was up at 3.30am this morning and didn't get back to sleep until about 6ish. I was meant to be in the office today but wfh instead.

Ouch to the tooth - glad you only have one more day to wait for the appointment.

That sounds like a good plan with the card too - although whether T's are one of the lenders who will offer balance transfer deals I have no idea. It's worth a try though!

Mr T's used to I'm sure. I'll stick with it and see for a few months. When the kids were little I used to use the points for so many things. Now I keep forgetting to check them. I must have a look and see.

Thanks for remembering @KajiKita that's so thoughtful ❤️

I think it went well. He has an appointment every week. I didn't want to pry too much as he needs to let me know things in his own time without me pressuring him.

It’s important to you and therefore to us!
I’m glad it seems like it went okay. I guess the thing is to let him him know that you are a safe space for him to share any thoughts and insights he wants to digest between sessions.
Good luck with the dentist today …. hope it helps and isn’t too expensive!
