My cav was described by the vet as a "gentle soul" code for complete wuss! 😂 when he had his injections he cried like she'd stabbed him with a rusty knife.
My cav is a gentle soul too 🤣🤣

Good luck with the training, you'll get there! The whistle worked for us, I practiced in the garden a couple of times before going out out.

I did MF. Must have been a glitch in the system somewhere as about 20 came through on one day!

We've had some practising with the whistle today in the garden and indoors. MrM took her out for a long walk earlier with it. He said it worked quite well except once when she charged across a field to see someone who didn't even have a dog with them. She's not done that before!

Another one who owned a "gentle soul" Cavvy. Ours got terrorised by a pair of Westies at dog training classes! (I'm still wary of westies to this day!)

Ooh that's a good tidy. Should it have gone on the tidy thread?

    I think I did post on both.🤔

Yesterday was a busy day. I dropped 12yo off at friends for 9.30 as they were going to a theme park. I then wandered into my local town with my best boots to take to the cobblers. Naught dog has chewed the zip. £45 to replace! I politely declined as I can get new boots for that. I spent £2.70 on laces doggo chewed up instead 😖

I then popped to Sainsbugs to get Easter eggs, frozen pizza for last night's dinner and chicken & veg today. As I was paying one of my friends and her Mum were there. Friend asked if I had checked my phone as she'd asked me for coffee earlier so we stopped in the Starbucks attached to the store. I was only home for an hour or so before going off to Costa to meet a friend who I hadn't seen for 4 years! Had a lovely, lovely catch up.

Today's plan is collect 12yo from friends, go and open her a bank account and get her new school shoes. Cheap ones just to last this last term.

I finished my book I bought at the charity shop last week. "Where The Crawdad's Sing" by Delia Owen's. I'm mentioning it as it was truly beautiful and I'm recommending it to everyone!

I'm hoping a copy of Marian Keyes new one "Rachel Again" will pop up soon.

Have a great day one and all.

That's an impressive tidy! Good work!

I'm keeping my eyes open for a copy of Crawdads, it's been recommended by so many people as a lovely book!
