It's not that I don't want to watch it but refuse to pay for another streaming service.0

My bonus has hit today 🥳 well most of it. Some is coming in payday. I don't know why they are splitting it? Apparently this year we will get a retention bonus on 1st October if we remain with the company. I have no plans to leave.
We have a few things that need fixing in the house so we can do that now. I'd like to pay a small chunk off the credit cards too and put some in my PB's. A bulk buy might earn me a win!4 -

Congrats on the bonus, how lovely. I don’t get bonuses sadly, but am hoping for a pay rise as they promised we’d get one this time after refusing to give anyone last year because ‘pandemic’…such a weak excuse when they did very well! At least splitting your bonus means you have a bit more to look forward to!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

This week I have shuffled one of my 0% cards that was ending but it had a 3.5% fee. I need to get onto them all now and rearrange my payments. Most cards used to have the facility to do it online or via the app but now have to call them. 🤬 I couldn't do it last week as boss was over from the Netherlands.
We managed to leave doggo at home for a bit yesterday. Came home to no destruction. 👍 It probably helped MrM and I took her on a long walk first and gave her a chewy stick. She's settling in so well. Definitely got her paws under the table 😂4 -
Glad pup is behaving herself. Having to phone to make overpayments seems a bit backward! I always do mine online or on the app so hope the new ones allow that.
Any chocs left?Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

No it's not overpayments, it's to change the dd's. It gives them a chance to ask why you want to change it and pry into if you're struggling.2

Gaaah apparently my phone has decided to stop sending me SMS messages so I didn't get the text from MBNA to confirm the balance transfer so it didn't go through. I just noticed today when I went to change my DD. I've re-tried to do it but will have to wait and see. It does probably mean I'll get charged some interest as the 0% fee finished on the 18th March. I don't know what to do about the phone. I have tried everything I can think of. I've posted a message on the giffgaff forums for help. Might have to try a new sim maybe?Naomim said:This week I have shuffled one of my 0% cards that was ending but it had a 3.5% fee. I need to get onto them all now and rearrange my payments. Mr M_F's phone plays up with text messages from time to time. We are also giff gaff and brought the phones at same time. Motorola G8 power. I suggested he delete old messages and clean up the storage deleting internet history etc.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I've tried all that MF. Deleted the cache, checked all the settings, rebooted 100 times, changed network provider to try and reset it. Pulling my hair out. My phone is about 5 years old and I like being on sim only and paying £10 a month. Really don't want to go down the new phone route until this dies.1
