Good news first on resisting the overdraft and getting through to payday and for getting a new car. A fair number of people swear AT them, too...
Reminds me of the old joke about car names as acronyms - Fix Or Repair Daily or my personal favourite - Fix It Again Tomorrow. Having had an ancient Fiat as my first car I can confirm the latter is true! There was one for Renault at one stage as well - I know it began with Rust but I can't remember the rest!

I've never really been one to name cars except my old Kia Picanto which I called the roller skate 🤣
This morning I transferred the payment to the garage. Went via tcb and got insurance via Go Compare. £224 all paid in full and I'll get meerkat movies 👍 I've sorn'd my old car. Need to empty the boot and arrange for a scrap company to collect.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2 -

Morning all, how is every one?
I have enjoyed driving around in my new car. 🚗
Yesterday MrM took the pup on a long walk whilst I hoovered like a demon and tidied away all the shoes. I managed to get rid of 4 bags of clothes and shoes to the charity shop. Today is planned more tidying and maybe a tip run if I can. Problem is I've started watching Vikings Valhalla on Netflix so may not get as much done! 😂
I'm in the office 3 days next week. I've put it to MrM that once we are sorted onto regular days in the office, him Mon - Weds and me Thurs & Friday, I expect him to cook on my office days. It went down like a lead balloon as he can't/doesn't cook but it's only fair I think.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1 -
Exactly. Everyone has to play their role in the team. We share cooking but Mr M_F only does the bang in the oven stuff or the veg to go with a roast. It works for us. I tend to batch cook one or two meals on the weekend so it makes midweek a bit easier. He does all the clearing up no matter whos cooked to make it fairer. I also do the baking etcDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I'm not expecting Michelin style cooking, it'll probably be things that can be fried or shove in the oven. I don't care as long as I don't have to do it.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2

Also found out I can't iron with the dog around! Was going to do a bit yesterday and she went loopy barking at the iron steaming.😬Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2
