Well dear diary, it's a been a while, and if I haven't been posting on here then you know the bank accounts have been ignored too. 🤦♀️
So firstly onto dog news. Doggo is lovely but naughty! She's showing signs of separation anxiety when one of us even leaves the room and jumped the stairgate. I'm scared she'll hurt herself so have started to leave it open except all our shoes are in the hallway so now it's a permanent game of swap the shoes for a treat to get her to drop them, put it back and she goes back and gets another. She's started having some longer walks and is loving going to the park and especially splashing about in the water and meeting other doggos. She seems to have something about cockapoos and is quite rough with them and I was worried about a tiny yorkie the other day as I thought she might see it as a toy and grab it. She's quite nervy on lead walks but that will come with time. I took her on a long walk round the block yesterday, near the busy road with lots of cars and buses. She stop and stares at them all. We were like a pair of drowned rats when we got in. Puppy classes in person started last week and she was the naughtiest! Jumping and barking. She doesn't really bark at home, only at the next doors dog if he's in the garden at the same time. It will all come together. Time and patience. We've been taking her to the inlaws on a Friday evening and she's been very well behaved but yesterday she was very jumpy and excited. MiL is scared of dogs and doggo jumped at her so she's asking us not to take her again.
Now onto finance. Good news is I looked at the bank account and still in the red. I have downloaded the transactions and will start going through them. I still need to review the budget and change the payments to the credit cards. Hopefully I can do that this afternoon. MrM is going back to the office for a fixed three days a week so I will do the other two days. My boss is coming over from The Netherlands in the begininng of March so I have asked MrM if he can see if he can possibly change his days or we will need to look for some doggy daycare. £££££££ 😱Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again4 -
I think we were really lucky with our dog, he didn't chew any shoes, only toys - his or the children's of they left anything around. I remember when he was young I used to take him out for 3 walks a day, that way it was guaranteed he'd sleep most of the day and be quiet.
He's a bit naughty now that is spring, he gets hypnotised by other dogs' smells and just shots off. His recall is usually very good but in the last few weeks we had to keep him on a lead as he run in front of a car once day. He's getting the snip this week, so that should calm him down I guess?
Good luck with the training, I hope you get to a point where doggo can visit the in laws again.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

@jokono she's not too bad with the shoes, carrying them around like a prize really but she does try and eat everything else! I was looking at a shoe cupboard as we just have a super cheap B&M shelf for shoes but realised we have one of those ikea 4 box kallax units upstairs we want to get rid of. That may fit the purpose 🤔 Going to have a measure. I think I thought about it before but it's too deep for the small space.
I'm in the office tomorrow and doggo finally getting her 2nd jabs.
Not had time to look at the bank account, work is absolutely manic at the moment and my boss is on a mission-which means we all are.😬Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2 -
Try and squeeze in a quick look at the bank later. Mobile banking is great for doing this. Out of sight out of mind 🤑Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I decided you meant black as there was no way red was going to be good news!
Absolutely right about time and patience being the way forward with the pup - Id also add the determination to spend a lot of time saying the same few words, and everyone being on the same page with stuff like jumping up/barking for attention etc. A box or cupboard of some sort for the shoes does sound like a sensible plan though at least for now!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

We are already seeing the benefits with doggo. If we say "switch" she'll drop what's in her mouth as we'll swap it for a treat. She'll also lay on her mat in the kitchen so I can cook or empty the dishwasher without her under my feet. It's the jumping that's the problem.
Still not had time to go through the bank 😖 it took me two hours to get in to the office. All because of one bus being early and they cut out the next one, so I missed my train.🤬Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again3 -

My commute into the office is bus, train, tube then 10 minute walk. If one goes wrong it's a nightmare @FootyFanDan. To be fair if I had my car then it's a 10 minute drive then train & tube. I work in central London.
I am looking at 2nd hand cars but the market is so expensive at the moment! I'm looking at 10year old cars and I'm hard pushed to find anything under £5k doesn't help I have to have an automatic due to arthritis in my left foot.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again1
