Thanks a lot m. That has helped me loads. I will do this. I could not find the barstos1976 thread.

Much appreciated for your help.

I said my name and address on appeal to unoccupied. Does that make me keeper?

Thank you

You would always need to do that, but did you say you were driving? Did you say "I parked" or anything similar?
Do you have a copy of the original appeal you sent that we can look at?

Sorry, it should have been bartos1976's thread.

Go to the main page where you started (the one that contains the NEWBIES thread) and click on search this forum. Type bartos1976 into the search box then click go, The thread is about the third one down. Post 6 of that thread has a PoPLA appeal you can modify.

I must stress that you can't use point 1 IF the scammers know who was driving.

Dear Sir/Madam

I had an interview at at 3.30pm Tuesday 20th December and I paid for a ticket at 2.49pm and displayed it stuck on my windscreen. I have scanned and sent you proof of ticket. Thanks

Unfortunately that outs you as the driver.

Never mind, you have several other points to go with.

What happened when you contacted the landowner?

I didnt contact the land owner only ukpc. Can i still send the letter or is it not worth it now. thanks

It is always worth asking the landowner. That's the best way to get a cancellation. Unfortunately many don't actually care about their customers.

You still need to construct your PoPLA appeal as well.

No. Remove the things about 'pre-estimate of loss'.

What does this mean?
I wish to appeal this parking charge on the following grounds.

Gladstones

Why did you not simply copy Bartos1976's one...I mentioned that ages ago, to try to assist, because I think English isn't your first language and you are clearly struggling.

Yes but we tend not to spoon-feed links on here, we told the OP twice where to look. Better than newbies on this forum learn how to use the forum search so they don't struggle to research later on, if they get a court claim.

And in fact this OP can't use bartos' point #1, as they admitted who was driving.

point taken, I was just browsing the forums. I find it easy to search forums using a pc, but if I am using my phone a little harder.

good luck to OP with their appeal.

Hi Thanks. If I take out the Gladstone bit then is it ok to send?

You can't appeal as keeper either.

Your first point should be signage because you want the assessor to see your strongest point first, followed by all the other RELEVANT points.

now reads

I am the driver and this is my appeal to a PCN which was issued to the vehicle with a valid ticket:
I was issued with a parking ticket on 12/16 but I believe it was unfairly issued.

On the 12/16 I parked the vehicle in the car park in question. I purchased a ticket that was valid for the full time that I was parked.
For whatever reason (my error, windy conditions and lack of adhesive on the ticket, the ticket was face down on the dash when the parking official attended the site.
The charge was issued on 12/16 as a note adhered to the windscreen and included the information that my parking ticket had been photographed in situ.
I notified the parking attendant in the booth and showed the ticket I bought and she gave me a card with details on how to contact UKPC.
I immediately wrote a letter to UKPC on 13/16 and also sent in my valid ticket. The tickets have serial numbers that are clearly visible on the reverse side.
On the 1/1/17 UKPC wrote back to stating that I did not comply with the terms and conditions of the car park and was therefore still liable for the charge.
The charge was £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.

I wish to appeal this parking charge on the following grounds.

Poor lighting/inadequate signage
Beavis Case vs ParkingEye
No authority / Landowner contract
Frustration of contract

then lists points.

That looks a better idea, but I suggest you still post it here first.
