    £99 currys

Says online has 3G and 4g but in currys it had a slot for microsd but couldn't see anything for SIM card.........

There are different variants of that tablet, some have 3G and some don't although I can't find any clear way to identify the difference as the manual doesn't show where the sim card goes nor does there seem to be a difference in model names. I suspect the fact you couldn't find a sim card means that wasn't the 3G version, also the 3G version looks like it should have a dialling app which the non-3G one doesn't.

With regards to Alcatel, all I've seen of them is some super cheap pay as you go phones. I've had a look at the wiki page and apparently it's just a brand name used by a Chinese company who also use the Thomson name in the UK.

£99? Currys website currently says £149.99; the same item is available on Amazon for £141.16. (The 4G version on Amazon is £161.40).

Just be careful with that 4G one on Amazon, it's from a German marketplace seller with £13 delivery and only 90 total feedback (although overall rating is 100%)

Ye I noticed that when looking for it on the website.
I photographed the ticket and it says £99.99 reduced from £149.99 - so that's probably the one
