Yes, the ones caught WERE a danger. Maybe they won't be in FUTURE. And you continue to ignore the (uncountable) people who heeded the signs and camera and DID NOT get caught. Do YOU understand what a deterrent is?

Remember we're not talking about a permanent situation here

So installing humps/ramps etc - that's roadworks, for roadworks. Sounds expensive and disruptive. Just close the damn road to avoid all risk.

Nope. Don't believe everything you hear in the pub or read in the internet. Fines go to Central Government and money from SAC go into running the SAC/safety partnership for running the cameras not into police station celebration funds.
