I started a business on Etsy. I like making things and found that it worked really well for me. It's a great little top up earner for me and I can do it all from home. You've just got to find a niche though - that's the tricky part!

You'd probably be better to start a new thread, rather than resurrect one that's well over a year old.  But there are plenty of jobs you can do from home - a large number of people have been working from home for the past year and earning very good salaries.  What skills do you have, what field interests you, how much time do you have?  A friend of mine works for a large investment bank, works from home and is on about £80k a year (but does work very long hours).  Another friend sells Avon around the village - earns rather less than £80k, but she enjoys it and it suits her lifestyle and other commitments.  There are plenty of genuine jobs out there - there are also a lot of dodgy "get-rich-quick" schemes (often advertised on Facebook and the like).  Just be a bit careful when researching, and remember the old maxim - "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is".
