God, why do people ask such stupid questions??? Try reading the t&c OR several of these threads. Of course, first off you have to read the RIGHT t&c for the deal you're looking at!!!0

Worth noting that the E2save forum states that you should send in the most recent bill that shows that you have been connected for 120 days *that is no older than 28 days* (for a pricematch deal)

OSPS & e2saves also have a cashback website:

mobilejunkie, the only reference the pricematch deal I can see is here http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/gift-info/DPLR437666/E4012JULY//
Please provide a current link on the OSPS page which shows a different procedure!
edit: cheers SenorGroucho. I now see the reference relating to invalidating future claims. But the cashback procedure is still the same as it always has been with OSPS0 -
In case it helps someone:
I had a pricematch phone from e2save that was connected on the 26 may 2007....120 days later was the 23 september so I sent in my September bill dated 4 sept 2007 a couple of days ago.
I just rang e2save and they said that the september bill is fine (I asked them to add a note to my account saying the september bill was fine).
IIUC the problem for me would be to send the september bill in after the 2 October when it would be over 28 days old when received and therefore rejected. The trouble with waiting for my October bill is that it won't arrive till the middle of October leaving little time to get the claim off within the timescale allowed.Join the Sarcasm Appreciation Society.

SenorGroucho, have the pricematch terms changed since you were connected? Following the current terms, what you did was correct, and like you say, you also could have waited for the October bill and made sure they recived it within 30 days of the 23rd Sept (although I think when they say 120 days, they just use 4 months ie. 26th Sept - for a couple of days, I'd make sure they receive your September bill on or after the 26th, but before 2nd oct, so as to not arrive too early)0

Alonso 14; I have put this on MANY times on various threads, probably including this one!
1) find a similar deal
2) click on "x months free"
Senorgroucho; interesting link - I have learned something interesting, thank you! Also interesting that whilst one section there just reproduces the t&c on the deals themselves and states copies and on-line bills aren;t acceptable, under q&a it says they are! Sume them up really, doesn't it??0 -
mobilejunkie, that's what my link refers to! I just dont see what the problem is - these were always the OSPS conditions. Please put me out of my misery and tell me where Im going wrong.
edit: ok, I see now, the link SenorGroucho provides lists conditions different to those that you get when you click on x months free - but it seems that they are following the conditions you get when you click on x months free - is the link SenorGroucho provided outdated?0 -
Hi
My partner and I took out the same mobile contracts with OSPS on 15th May, we received our 4th bills at the end of August and posted them off on the 8th of Sept, to allow time for postal strikes/to arrive/be processed - paranoid about the 30 day window. (I counted 120 days to be 11th Sept).
Mine was returned with a letter saying that it was too early and that it had been returned to me to be resubmitted on the correct date.
My partner received a letter saying his claim had been shredded and that all future claims were invalid.
I resubmitted mine and received my cashback!
In my partner's letter, he was told that OSPS would not enter into any more correspondance with him. I emailed them asking for their complaints procedure, reminding them that they were obliged to have one under Ofcom regulations - they did not reply.
I have now put my partner's claim through https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk even if I lose £35, I fought to the end!
As you have all said, the T&C say that they charge £10 for early claims and that late claims are forfeited - no ref to early claims being forfeited.
Have you actually looked at your claim forms? On the top of mine it says: -
"Any vouchers received before the qualifying period will be posted back via standard post and remain your responsibility."
So they should NOT have shredded my partner's claim!
Good luck everyone.0 -
Maybe you're using the wrong claim vouchers too. These deals are NOT what they seem and you have in fact NOT followed the clear legal t&c you signed up to. However, they have no right to deny future claims and recently appear to have put that right in other cases. Read the threads and it has all been covered previously.0
