Stash Busting 2017 - I WILL use my mountains of craftstash before buying more!

I sort of fell off the rails with this and didn't post much but I finished Celtic Noel, and another crossstitch kit called thumbelina by bothy threads. I've done a lot of knitting and sewing and not bought too much in.
If there is a new thread be t year I'll plan a list as I think I work better with one rather than just bibbling through.

Just to note the summer girly brandy was in fact summer fruit brandy.

My partner has just bottled up 10 bottle of arran cello and limon cello. 173 / 500

I’ve also completed another 5d picture that my partner bought for me. It’s a bit of a twee picture but it was a lovely thought.

With all of the bits used up for Christmas wrapping etc 180 / 500!

My crafty plans for the day involve building some drawers from ikea that we’re a Christmas gift. Woo from my sister in law. I was a bit gutted when my partner said I wasn’t getting ikea vouchers form her any more. She did even better. :):)

I then need to sort out my craft room. I’ve been given a box of papers to take to work as I work with children and I have a boot box to fill with them.

I have a cardboard frame to fill. I think I’m going to use some unicorn fabric my partner bought me in my stocking. It’s poly cotton and one meter so can’t make a dress with it. Going to embroider a word on it. The frame is too short for the word unicorn. But want to avoid love.

I’m thinking that will keep me busy today - alongside washing and some films recorded over Christmas.

I also plan to be sorting my stash over the next few days, My Nephew has moved into the spare room and he needs space but also I need to understand what I have so I can plan to use it. Will be setting up in DD room once she goes back to uni. Looking forward to 2018 and reducing the pile.

Well my day was stifled.

I swept and mopped all the floor so I had a large clean space to build in and went to get me drawers. My partner has only picked up the gift we gave to his brother in law instaed of the drawers (left behind due to a lack of space in that car when going home due to cats and babies being with them...)

So no drawers to build today. But I have at least done some cleaning up haha.

O hope the plans of others have not been as stunted. Haha.

George Michael stitched for a neighbour, a work friend gave me the mag with the chart in and a skein of thread in theone shades hadn't got. Everything else including the frame came from my stash.

I have now built the drawers from ikea.

I used up some plastic sheet and made some protectors for the drawer labels.

I am actually impressed with myself. They took a little over an hour - but I was watching a movie at the time so not very focused.

I haven’t made my total for the year. But I have managed 200 / 500.
