Hi crafters,

Using the concept from the 2016 thread (and goingback as far as 2014 I think...) - originally set up by 'Crafting Mad' - this is hopefully to keep us all on track - and to help us all plough through our crazy big stashes...

Well done to all the crafters who took part in 2016. Everyone was amazing and the thread helped so many people that hopefully 2017 can be the same.

For those of you who are new here are a quick recap of the (very loose) rules:-

The rules of the challenge are simple.

You can make anything you like but everything you make must be made using items from your current stash.

You are allowed to print things from cds etc and print any photos etc which may be needed for scrap booking pages but you must not buy any new stash until your target has been met (except for if it is something to enable you to finish of a project such as adhesive etc).

However this challenge is just for fun so if you do sin (and I'm sure there will be many - with me at the top of the list!!) then post for forgiveness and keep creating and having fun xxx

Thanks for the shiny new thread nimbo and for running the last couple of years crafting mad.
Hopefully this year I will be better at posting. I don't have a clue how many things I make or could make from stash. I'll aim for 365 and won't sweat it if I miss by a mile.
More importantly I enjoy so many crafts I eed to make a real effort to stop stash taking over the house .....which hubby says looks like h*bbycraft!

Oh and a question.If you make cards, do you count them individually or do a batch and count them as one x

I'd like to join again, and hoping to get a lot more crafting done this year, tempted to enter a few crafting classes in the local county show(!) - not too sure on numbers yet, but now have written down crafting ideas into a book which i should look at for inspiration (and motivation...)

That would be up to you. I seem to flip flop between counting items made. And items finished up. Last year i counted cards individually.

I count cards individually or I'll never make my target! I'm counting anything I make where I do not buy anything new. I've made my first make

magical - I count the different stash items used per item I make, eg card, adhesive, ribbon, gems, envelope = 5. I've not stooped (yet) to counting individual gems though! I'll be taking a hem up on DH's trousers, so that'll be 1 for thread. It's a bit cheeky but it suits me.
