Being made Redundant but leaving early

So what does that mean for me? I cannot counter notice as I am leaving this week?0
-
From what you have said you resigned before you were put on notice.0
-
Ok I will see what they say to me tomorrow. I think they will just say I am entitled to 34 hours holiday which I already know about and I don't know what else they will say. I will ask about my lieu time as I have just got extra lieu hours due to Christmas and New Year so I will ask if I will receive those as well.0

What's the policy for those hours when people resign?0
-
I have looked in the handbook but it doesn't say what you get if you resign.0
-
Also, is there a law to say I cannot take my original holiday as planned (from 8th-21st)? Surely if I had a holiday booked and I was going away they couldn't make me work those weeks that we are closing. I am not going away but still why can't I use my holiday hours?0
-
You said you withdrew your holiday request.0
-
No I never withdrew it, I never confirmed whether I was going to work it. I said I probably would work it but I never gave a yes or no answer and no rotas were created for those weeks.0
-
I told my manager that I had a feeling this new company wanted me to start earlier and she said if they do say yes and you can still take your holiday hours.0
