So pleased you like it and that it arrived safely nmm. Even though it was only a simple design because I don’t have a lot of stitching time I really enjoyed doing it.

Sorry I've been MIA and I seem to have missed FOS's return to the cafe and nmm's birthday. So sorry!
FOS - welcome back, it's lovely to 'see' you and I hope you will carry on posting. You were always stitching and put us all to shame in previous threads!

Sorry I wasn't organised enough to join in the card exchange. That's two year's running I've missed it - must try harder in 2018! I am still searching for a frame for the gingerbread trio I've finished. It's a weird size, just slightly too large for a 7"x5". As it will only come out at Christmas I'm loathe to take it to the framers and pay a small fortune, so I have been looking out in charity shops. I need a dark wood frame really. Doubtful it will be on display this year, but heyho.
I've started a monthly craft group locally and although it's mainly knitters and crocheters, any craft is allowed(!) so I'm going to take my cross stitch along when we resume in January. I'm also putting in a request for a change to my work pattern. DH has just been made permanent so the pressure is off slightly. I need to continue full time (as we lost a years salary when he was out for 14 months) but I'm going to ask if I can do one day a week from home. It would just give me time to get washing done and on the airer, have a food delivery and generally stress a bit less. At the moment, all the washing and shopping and housework is done on the weekend and it leaves very little time for anything else. Anyway, we shall see, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
It's craft group tonight, but I don't think much will get done. We are all taking wine!!
Looking forward to seeing the card photos - the purple one is fab.

Welcome back Coxy, the exchange was a little rushed this year, but it's always a joy to take part. I hope we all have more time to stitch next year. Did you join the craft group or create it? There is nothing local to me, I did try to start a group a few years ago but we couldn't get anywhere to hold the meetings. Good luck on getting your one day a week at home, I know the feeling, I get everything done on Sunday as that's the only day free. The house is a tip I really need to rejoin flylady as my house needs it. Talk soon
