Pauline totally agree about a real book , I flit from audio books free from the library or real books . I enjoy reading in the bath so always have a proper book . It is a habit from when the children were young it was the only place I got any peace . .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Books are wonderful, aren't they?
Is there anything nicer than a good book? And a cup of tea of course.
There are many good things about the internet but it can't replace books. I don't buy them now but it took a number of years to wean myself off purchasing.
Have you heard of Bibliophile Books? http://www.bibliophilebooks.com
It is a great site for weird and wonderful books and the descriptions are pretty unusual too. I used to buy hundreds of them when I lived overseas. It's full of books you didn't know you needed!
This isn't getting me to the library

I always read in the bath too. Are you going to be much longer? 3 chapters to go...
When the new bath got installed he filled the cavity with insulation so the water stays warm. I remain grateful for this.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I love real books too and I always try to read in bed for an hour to help me sleep. I get mine from charity shops for 50p to £1 per book
.
There is nothing nicer than a book and a cup if tea, except maybe a glass of red wine and a book.

Payday yesterday and I am going to be sailing close to the wind this month. I was hoping to make no overpayments but one cc direct debit payment has already come out. The other I manually overpay so that will save me £25 and then the £70 I put away for Christmas, Birthdays etc I have for Nov and Dec , so that's £95 extra.
That isn't going to be enough I know it isn't . I am going to sit later with my calendar and work it all out ,

You are doing well. Just taken a look at your opening debt and you have paid off roughly 1/3rd in less than one year of your credit card debts. Shows what you can do when you account for each pound.
