My diary: “Seasidegal's Scrimpy Retirement Diary!”0 -
Today is Christmas market day , it is going to be freezing outside so layers are order of the day. Before I go out at 1pm I have to go shopping with DF and then a trip to the local argos which is all doable .
I am eating out in town today at a well known pizza place that does lots of gluten free options . I have a voucher for this to keep prices down. We won't be having an expensive drink from the markets £11 for two coffees I think not. You do get to keep the cup or get a deposit back . Still not doing it though , we will visit costalot instead.
My stomach feels weird again , if I in anyway feel stressed this is the part of my body that it affects. I will be fine once friend has picked me up , it's all the other stuff I need to get done before I go.
No ironing will be done today , but having Tuesday off to go to the Swedish store again with friend so will be done then.
Everyone have a good day , update this evening.0 -
Hope you have a lovely day.0

Hi Cumbria Lass
I have started reading your diary and have caught up to date from the beginning.
I previously have struggled with debt, the same as everyone on here and I have managed to come out of the other side. I read other people's diaries but never normally posts anything.
I have decided to send you a message to say how extremely well you are doing and totally have the right approach about bringing down your debts.
I am following a couple of other diaries that make me mad! They buy clothes and toiletries every single month and constantly commenting on all the things they want to buy instead of knuckling down and getting debt free. Until they change their mind set they will always be a million miles away from their debt-free dream.
I love the way you are handling your finances, very similar to how I achieved becoming debt free and you are so nearly there.
Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration!0 -
That sounded like a nice day out CL - and well done on resisting the stalls too!
