My philosophy on the gym is that you have to do what is right for you and what fits in your lifestyle . I prefer to go on the way home or at lunch because once I get home that's it. It doesn't have to be the same routine for me every week I fit it around my life. I wouldn't go if it was regimented. Plus as I said before I go for my health not to look good .
DIA I think if you can go for 30 mins before work and it works for you then go for it, better than not doing anything.
Hairy walking is just as good as any gym , you just have to keep moving when you can. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thank youIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have an important question to ask?
Does walking around Available Car showroom and car park count? My partner has the spending urge and unfortunately it's for a car!! I thought he was happy using mine but he keeps looking and today we went to look in real life. I thought the £4000 per year saved would go towards the house purchase in Spain. Urghghghghghgh.
I haven't managed to get out of the house since last Thursday when I overdid things. It wasn't too bad this afternoon but I am feeling rather overwhelmed again. Not good.
On brighter things, it sounds as though you have got into a really good routine with the gym and work. When I was younger I hated plans and routines but now I find it leaves more space in my mind.
Good news on the PPI. Definitely make a donation to your chocolate fund too.
Have a good week

It's strange Pauline but I am very into routines and plans but when it comes to exercise I am the complete opposite.
Walking round the car park and car show room definitely counts ! Glad you managed to get out today but don't over do things .
How about walking up and down stairs say 10 times and build up to 20 to get your stamina up .
I would feel overwhelmed choosing a car so you aren't alone in that.

As you are aware I said I would treat my friend who helped get packaged bank account money back. The budget was £110.
For this I have used those deal sites we all get emails for.
W&w&er deal £89 for one night DB&B for 2 in a very fav place of mine.
L&&&&g s&&&&l deal afternoon tea for 2 with prosecco £19 for 2 about 15 miles away .
These treats are being taken in Jan and Feb .
Also got a coffee shop card when checked out on VO to use for the weekend away.
Very MSE I think and in budget. Of course we will need some spends and petrol money for the weekend but that will come out of holiday account. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
