Had a quick look at Ynab but need to watch more about it. Had a terrible nights sleep very broken was up at midnight for 30 mins and then at 4 again but managed to sleep until 8.15. I am getting a cold again so my nose is all bunged up .
Today I need to be well I am going out to town for afternoon tea with friend for her birthday, we may go to the shops to look around. Getting picked up at 12 I have a big pile of ironing to do before that .

Thank you all.
The afternoon tea was a offer of course £23 instead of £45 . It was lovely at a hotel on the edge of town. When we arrived there was a wedding fayre on , so it would have been rude not to look around . Free glass of orange as well, I wish I could get married again or maybe not:rotfl:. Anyway it was lovely having a saunter around. The tea was very nice and we brought a couple of cakes home as couldn't manage it all. I also hope you get some money back,we make the decisions we need to at the time, quite a bit of my debt was wracked up because of splitting with my ex,I had a council house but he persuaded me to buy our own house so we took out this mortgage, then after a few years he got fed up and cleared off,I should have known better because it wasn't the first time, luckily he signed the house over to me without me having to pay him anything.but I am still stuck with a mortgage I didn't want and a house I'm stuck in
If I had stayed in my council house I would be in a position to exchange to a smaller cheaper property now,we certainly live and learnOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -

Ynab update , I have looked and decided it's not for me , I will use my trusty pen and paper.
Last night was Zumba night at the gym , I am dare I say it a little more coordinated, an improvement anyway. My new role at work started yesterday, it's more or less the same job but with an odd extra duty thrown in. I think I will get paid a full month at new salary on payday which is the 18th , will have to wait and see. My salary has increased by around £1500 and if I have understood correctly will be £3500 extra by April 2020. I have to remember though that the job initially is for 12 months and will be reviewed in April 2020. No one seems to think it will not carry on, so fingers crossed as this extra money is going to make life much better financially. All wait and see now on payday , then need a new budget.
I am planning a weekend away with my friend to York in September, not been for a long time . Any recommendations on accommodation welcome. I think Milann went last summer with her DH.
