Hi Cumbria, thought I'd pop by and say hello. Congratulations on getting the job. My last interview was about 10 years ago, not sure I would manage one these days. :o Have a lovely weekend. xx

Thank you Nicnak and Milann. Walked again to the beauticians, it is nice to be outside even though it is cold. There are things starting to flower , roll on Spring. Waxing done and I am home now to a lovely warm flat. It's still so light as well another plus , I must change my time switches to later. I spent another £4 in HB on tissues, kitchen roll , bananas and a card .

I have never used ynab but am going to take a look shortly.

  • I looked at YNAB but couldn't get my head around it. I think you need a regular income or otherwise you can't use it properly, plus I think I would get on better with real pots rather than virtual ones. But you may get on well with it as many swear by it :).

I'm glad you've got lovely weather today. We've had sunshine today and it's warmer. There are some lovely yellow crocuses flowering in a pot next to my front door which looks very springlike :).

Hi Cumbria - I'm glad you managed to sort out your dad's appointment. And I'm sorry to hear of you SIL's continuing problems. Your DD sounds like a lovely, patient caring person and I do hope things get back to normal for them all very soon. As others say, all you can do is be there for them.

Fingers crossed on the PPI - I'm waiting to hear about the loan I took out with an ex thirty years ago!

It was cold today wasn't it, but very bright and sunny after yesterday's appalling weather. Amazing what a bit of sun can do for the spirits.

You can get a month's free trial with YNAB and there are on-line tutorials. I love it but if you are a bit of a whizz with spreadsheets you could probably knock up your own free version!
