We also have foxes barking (or whatever that strange noise is they do) plus owls hooting - this is suburban living :rotfl:

    Hope tonight is less eventful.

I thought we lived in suburbia as well , but definitely inner city this week. ;)

Today is DD's birthday , myself, my mum , DD and DGD are going to a fairly local well known patisserie for lunch, which I am paying .

As I have no childminding today I intend to do my cleaning this afternoon as friend coming for the day tomorrow and I am babysitting in the evening.

Yesterday went to DGD nursery to play , but she was completely overwhelmed with it all. I brought her home so that confused her more.

Weather is windy but no rain yet, that will start the minute I go out of the door .

The bakery bit of the patisserie was interesting to watch, and if you like chocolate this place is for you. The menu was ok, the afternoon tea looked very nice. Atmosphere was nice in the place, but it was very busy . My DD enjoyed it , but to me it is overpriced, ok for a treat. DGD was asleep in her buggy for most of it.

Have done all my cleaning and washing. Day out tomorrow with best friend , Xmas shopping again. Need to go for flu jab first though.

    Xmas shopping

You've just reminded we need to get our flu jabs, must book in.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • If it's any consolation a squirrel has taken up residence in one of our trees and spends half of its time barking - apparently it's either a warning noise for cat alert or a very busy private life.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Poor man in the road - hope he made a full recovery. Drinking on a school night is a gamble.

Enjoy your weekend, it's going to be wet.

Hope you enjoy your day out with your friend today Cumbria and manage to buy some Xmas bargains.

Re foxes, my friend lives in the East End of London se extremely urban. She sent me a photo recently of five foxes sprawled out on the top of her garden like they were sunbathing in Ibiza!
