Today was a bit dire at work, all the IT didn't work from around 11.00am , phone lines included. Some systems worked intermittently, leading to a lot of huffing and puffing from around the office.

Finished early ad it will be an overnight job to get it working. Spent £2.50 on euro millions at work today. Can't believe the weather today either, summer has well and truly gone.

Tomorrow is childminding day , don't think we will go far if it's wet again.

    Plusnet £50

If I can get any of this money I would be very happy if it landed before Christmas.

  • Hello, hope you don't mind me joining in your thread *& subscribing). I've just stopped lurking and started up my own diary, but I've been reading yours at intervals too. I spent about 7 months working in Cumbria a couple of years ago, really loved it up there (although it does rain a lot :D ). Problem is I spent so much time driving across the whole county for the job I was doing, that the last thing I wanted to do at a weekend was go sight-seeing... I do plan to come back up at some point to actually enjoy it properly though.
:eek:to the x-ray 'artefact' - or what they thought it was. Makes my eyes water...

Shudders at the thought of a nipple piercing. That said, I had my belly button pierced 15 years ago. I still have the navel ring it was pierced with as I'm too squeamish to change it.

Anyway glad your lungs are fine :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • That'll be a nice little pot of money for Oz Cumbria. Hope all the IT problems were sorted out at work too!

    Have a good weekend!

(SA - how great to have a naval ring to flaunt!)

Sunday evening again , 3 day weekend is not long enough anymore. Have had another busy time , more preparations for Christmas and Australia.

I have been doing lots of walking at weekend recently and using the bus to get to places. Yesterday I went to the big shopping centre , it was nice for someone else to drive. I went in next for a gift card and realised the sale was on. I got a pair of linen trousers for £9.50 that fit perfectly, so they going away with me. Today I have walked to our local Home Bargains and stocked up on needed bits. Little bit over shopping budget this week £31.56 . Realised as well that I am only in work 2 days and have enough salad stuff for 4 days . Salad will feature in my lunch and evening meal this week. Had fish cake tonight and one for tomorrow as well with salad and rice.

Washing up time, breakfast and lunch ready for work tomorrow, tv then bed.
