Nearly the end of another weekend . Today has been very domesticated, cleaning, ironing , washing.

Shopping was £18.81 , I am eating out of the freezer again this week and next , have done a meal plan to cover this.

Busy week at work and after work. Off away to friends again bank holiday weekend , can't wait for a slow down .

I've also bought some presents for Christmas. Nothing wrong with starting early! Glad you had a nice day with your friend and good luck with the babysitting :)

Ahh Cumbria hope the work situation improves now you've had that chat. I've had jobs previously where the issues were exactly those that you mention so I do sympathise.

Good plan on the Christmas pressie buying as and when you see things too - we've already got a few odds and ends for Niece & Nephews!

Glad you had a nice day and hopefully things at work will settle. Nothing worse than being unhappy at work - we spend a lot of time there.

I hope work has settled down. My work and politics fluctuates too. It is a shame as like you I enjoy my job when the nonsense is removed.

Well done in getting back into the gym groove :)

Thank you everyone for words of help and comfort about work. Things have improved a little this week. We are on an away day next week, then on the 15th we have a review of our team after being together 6 months. There may well be some more changes afoot.

Two NSD this week so far, I am sticking to meal plan , the freezer is emptying nicely .

Bad news lots of local RBS are closing near me , although it isn't my main bank , I have accounts with them because it is near to work . It's closing in November which is a loss . Don't often use a branch , usually to pay the odd cheque in. However have just used Halifax mobile cheque pay in on my phone , it's very good to know the facility is there . Bit excited by it really, means no more queueing in a bank.

Sad for the staff in the branches though.

Two more work days , before I am off to the north east for five days . Filled car up tonight £39.84 in readiness. Even the weather forecast looks decent. I so need a change of scenery and no responsibilities.
