    We went in the car today not the train, it was to wet . Glad we went early as the car park was nearly full. The cost to get in £12.95 for a child , adults free . A fantastic interactive place for children, we were there five hours or so and DGS didn't want to leave. No food or drink allowed in, £8.90spent on lunch .

    Trying to sort out Friday to take both DGC out for the day , ridiculously expensive for everywhere , no wonder parents spend a fortune in the holidays . I reckon by Friday evening I will have spent about £100 this half term if we go out to something expensive Friday .

    Tomorrow is swimming , probably be about £12 with parking . I am shattered , hoping DGS is asleep in his bed.

    Bet you enjoyed it too. It's great to go back to being childlike and having grandchildren gives you the perfect excuse.

    We had snow here again but quickly went on Monday. The garden is brimming with life and my three squirrels have returned to make me smile. Hopefully spring is really sprung now.

    You sound so much better, thankfully.

    Take care honey

    Reddish Vale farm is good - cost us 20something to get in a couple of weeks ago - 4 adults a 4 year old and 1 year old. Depending on how old the children are there's an indoor play area and a new adventure area plus feeding the animals. There's a little lake and country walks just down the lane too. Not as big as some I've been to but not as expensive either.

    I'm off to see my gdds next week - looking forward to it !!!128077;
    January spends - £587.58
